I am an avid gardener and love growing just about anything. Nothing compares to growing weed though. The yield from one plant is more valuable than my entire garden of 14 16'x4' raised beds.

Ten years ago I survived cancer and used pot to get over the nasty side effects of radiation treatment. The doc gave me a $1600 prescription for Zofran which didn't work that well. I used about a 1/4 ounce of crappy brick weed which worked way better. I wish I had some of the tasty nuggets that I grow now back then. Last year I was diagnosed with Glaucoma. Studies show that weed lowers pressure in the eye by 20% for 3 to 4 hours. Right now I use eye drops that cost $120 per month and burn my eyes but I also smoke as often as possible to help. It's hard to tell how much it helps because I can't monitor my eye pressure, but it certainly can't hurt! I live in a state where I am considered a criminal for procuring my own natural remedy to my illnesses which is pathetic.
