Thanks, I am aware that neg pressure is preferred over positive but, wouldn't I still have neg pressure with 10-12 ft of 10" "passive" duct?

I need to vent a 10 x 13.5 x 12 ft room. I am using an 8" value line fan(745 cfm). I need to put the inlet on the back wall of my shop and duct it 10' to the room and want to use it as a passive intake. Will an 8" inlet do the trick or should it be a 10" inlet since it is passive?

More thinking I'd be better off just getting the RO then. Why pay $320 for the full test? If I need to get the RO anyways hell, thats more than half of a 1000gpd unit.

I am on well water and I know I have "hard" water by the deposits on my fixtures...I called to find out how much for a water test and of course it depends on what you wanna test for. Wanting to do some hydro so I was hopeing someone could tell me what all should I test for out of the list I was...
