I used the Pre98 rather than the Katsu only as a matter of convenience. I will be working a lot with the Katsu cut in 2020 - I have some collabs with ChemDog, Raw Genetics, and Mass Medical Strains that will all be using it.

To the best of my knowledge, the "Katsu" cut is an S1 of the Pre98, which is the "original" Bubba Kush. This is not gospel but what I've surmised based on conversations with the various players over the years. I purchased the "Katsu" cut in 2001 for $500 from GreenCrackMan site unseen via CW forums.

I had one purple pheno and two green. One of the two green has a really strong nose. All 3 were very different. Hybrids are fun :-)
