I grow with CFL though and I have seen a lot of big buds come from CFL. Even if only used during veg

I agree with MH as it would be ideal for vegetative.

I think you might have it backwards...... 2700 or red spectrums promote stem growth and vigor while the 6500k blue promote actual vegetable growth. Such as closer internoafal spacing ( aka bushier )

    Pop quiz ...help!

he said he just NOW moved to 12". He did not mention his original burn distance. ( if it was a burn ) also he mentions his humidity in the original post. Which I do not believe is low. i had my 65watt and 42watt at 3" that burned my own plants following this same misconception. I believe it is...

    Help!! Moldy Soil

Agree with bugeye. As long as it's not organic....( using chem feet ) as TITO.M states in a healthy organic grow, this is normal to be NEAR the root structures ( if those are also up near the surface ) step 1. Let it dry out completely. Technically it should be moist 2" into the soil.... Not on...

    Fan leaves dying after flush.

If that's the most damaged leaf. It is not Nute burn. There is no classic leaf tip burn. Given how much damage is there, I would have expected half the leaf tip to be burned or so. honestly I am unfamiliar with soilless mediums such as coco... What I do know though, is it is easy to lock out...

She's dying, slowly. Leaves yellow-browning from bottom to top

Nute burn... The damage is done. Leave her be and let her recover. Do not transplant, trust me... I made this mistake. If you already flushed then let her dry out and then water without mutes x2. Then reintroduce again at 25% strength.

    Pop quiz ...help!

Yes, this is heat stress from the light. While you raised the lights, damage is done. A lot of folks say you can't burn them with CFL. And that may be the case with SOME. My 65watt and 42watt combo burned my youngins. Though your plants are much more mature in age. QUESTION: is this damage...

I also am having some problems with my 2 week olds

I think they may slowly recover, but I have some new sprouts going just in case. This time I'll leave it in the cup until it's the right size. 12/9/13 BLUE DREAM - still hoping they survive. VOODOO STAR - soils are still drying out. Some kind of blue black to the edges. Also looks a little...

I also am having some problems with my 2 week olds

Actually 18/6 is not the standard. Some do 12/12 from seed. Some do 24/0. I have also noted that CFL grows have less intensity and therefore it's actually okay to leave them on a bit longer.. thanks about the watering tip. I was overwatering early on. While I think it's controlled now, I do...

I also am having some problems with my 2 week olds

Bump... oh man they are dying.. 12/8/13 BLUE DREAM They are frying bad... VOODOO STAR Yes a little droopy. I watered 3 days ago. I think they look a bit light green, especially in pic 2. I am concerned though there is a more severe underlying problem. CHEM4 Just sprouted this morning. I...

I also am having some problems with my 2 week olds

Despite some of the blue dream looking a little light green. i was planning on just using plain tap water, maybe in another 3-4 days when cup is a bit more dry ( a lot more dry ) I did just germinate a set of chem4s , just in case this crop is beyond repair.

I also am having some problems with my 2 week olds

3 days ago 12/4/13 Okay... So they were growing and because of space and given that the size of the pots I put them in were way too big, I transplanted again but this time back into cups. i swear I have fucked with these so much I'm surprised they aren't dead. The cups to have 2 knife slits...

    Back pain after smoking...normal?

Yes and no.... if you have been a smoker for a while, it would be more likely that it is not a result of psychoactive components. I would think newer smokers would be more vulnerable to this. when I think back pain with weed smoking, I think a cough induced muscle soreness. often times a...
