Does someone want to give advice on setting up a CO2 system? What in your opinion is best? Heats an issue, so if a tank is good and can be turned on and off with the light cycle, I'd be willing to listen. Im sure a tank is safer too. I'm thinking propane might be the most cost effective though...

I start with A&B Soil and use recommended amounts from their feeding schedule. This usually puts my water at about 6.3 or so. Then I add 2.5 ml cal mag per gallon which PH's it down to about 5.5 or so. At this point I ph up to 6.15 and add the rest of the line with the exception of the algen...

I'm a beginner so don't listen to me but it seems like you're making more work for yourself than need be. What's the scale of your grow and what's the measured effect from this process? Does all that work = worth while results? That's my two cents.

You might want to re-read my post. I never said anything about hygro other than he says he uses half amount. I like his review. It's grower md who has the discount and seems to just be pushing a product.

I bought a bottle after seeing it on grower md and hygro hybrid on YouTube. I'm a newb being three months into my first grow so I have little knowledge compared to some. Both of these guys I respect. I do have to say if you go back and watch grower md talk about it seems like he's just peddling...

I've decided to go with three 8 bulb T5's. I have one already for my cloner so two more will be around the same price as two more light set ups or one light and a rail set up. This will give me 1200w and still cut down on my heat and electricity issues. Thanks everyone for their advice!

i just want it for veg. How much will it add to my veg time? Is it 75% efficient, 80%, 90%? Will it add one week, two...?

I have a small 5x10 foot veg room. I'm thinking about setting up a 1000w mh up on a track to save electricity, lower heat, and not overload my fuse. I'm going to plug it in a reg 110 outlet. Is is this a good idea? Is it as good or close as two lights? Also, are they loud? thanks in advance!
