The 400s reflectors are: hydrofarm lumenmax about 18" x 24" SunSystems cool sun 20 x 24 so the two together are about the same as the magnum, no where near as advanced design. No prob with air leaks, totally happy, worth the $$

BTW, I use 670w of T8 floros to veg a 6x8 room, thats all you need. Again, balanced, 70% 6500k, 30% 2700k. It looks like a tanning bed! Save the big boys for flowering.

The difference in the bulbs is obvious. Most of the higher end bulbs are more of a balanced spectrum, focusing on the blues & reds. Spectrum does matter, try an LED for fun, expensive as shit, but proves a point. You can get it done with a lot less watts/lumens if the light is in the right...

Sounds a little complicated. Most drip systems I've worked with had a standard watering schedule (i.e. once an hour for 2 minutes, twice an hour for 1 min, somewhere around there. You shouldn't have to alter it with your light schedule
