I have some clones around 15 about 10 days old in a homemade bubble cloner. I left them for the 10 days and came back and the ph was a little high, and non rooted which suprised me as before a good amount would root in 7 days and the other by 10-14 days.
I changed the water and adjusted it to...
he is saying the cold will slow growth, so add heat.
You don't want it being that cold theres not benefit. if your plant is going to turn purple it would at 60ishF. 50F is way to cold.

I was experiencing the same problem with my waterfarms.
I was being impatient. I would mix the nutes check ph adjust then throw it in my res. Now i mix the nutes let it sit for about 10 min mix the water around check ph adjust then lets sit for 10-15 then check ph again to make sure its in...
depends on how big your area is but ebb and flow or waterfarms for sure! I use the water farms but I am looking into making more space for an Ebb and Flow
good luck

whenever there is a good size side branch thats when i usually take my clones. Usually around 2 weeks they are big enough for me.
I'm LSTing on of my mothers right now to try to get more prominent side branching.

When the lights are off you also wont want it to be too cold as that can cause problems for the plants as well.
How big is the area? If u dont want to spend much then the best bet would be CFLs

Just leave your room the same size and put in a Humidifier. If you can't control the temps with 4 cfls you def need more ventilation.
If u need more humidity put a metal container or pot filled with water in there too.
Good Luck

I've heard of it before. But usually they let them root for 7 days, then put them into flower. Usually for a SOG grow, and depending on the strain and skill around a 1/2Oz
