I just had some clones take 5 weeks to sprout roots. If they look alive and healthy, I'd keep doing what you're doing. Maybe try rockwool or jiffy pellets as a medium instead of soil. Soil can often take much longer for clones to root in.

The cfls are just for vegging. The ladies get spoiled with a 1000w HPS for flowering. Thanks for the input though! Any feedback is always appreciated. @longbomb that sounds like it should be fine. Like fabfun said, more light will give a higher yeild and denser buds.

I have a similar sized tent and I used 23w CFLs and just built a chandelier type thing with 3 Y-splitters and four bulbs. I have a total of 14 CFLs for ten plants and a T5 for the clones. This is my 3rd grow using these lights and the plants seem to love it. As long as you have air moving over...

A one week flush before harvest is what's common. I would also recommend a flushing agent of some kind.

I went with a brand called ecoplus. If you compare the cfms (which is what you should look at) they are almost the same but the ecoplus is $50 cheaper. How big is your grow space? Are you sure you need an 8"?

Hey SS, I just read through all of your first and second grows. I'm somewhat new to posting but read a lot here on RUI. Your grow looks amazing. Definitely one of the cleanest and most well thought out. I would give you +rep but I don't know how. lol Keep up the great work!

I just built my own. After ALOT of research I found it was much cheaper and easier to build my own. Even if you order one online, you'll still have to assemble it. First off, All that talk of gas being let off and killing your plants is bullshit. PVC piping is used in all kinds of applications...
