Im using 4 cfl's above and 2 t8 for side lighting. It's my first grow and I've already ordered my 600w hps/mh system. What I'm saying is in my ONE experience cfl's ROCKED in veg growth. The plants didn't have to stretch to get light, and because of the low heat emission I was able to keep them...
