Still, there's got to be some kind of legal measure when drafting up whatever cultivation charges your hit with

Cultivation "weight" when arrested... how is this number determined?

I check my local papers, and very rarely is anyone ever busted for growing. The first and only case I heard was very large (over 150 plants) and half the story focused on how they were stealing electricity. I guess this should be a reassurance to me? lol

I have to agree, if that were the case cops would be opening everyone's door who lived in the projects, and you wouldn't hear about raids in the papers. Police do need a search warrant to enter your house, I know people in public housing who have been the victim of raids and police always had a...

If I understand your question correctly, I'd say they are invaluable.

Do you know how I could go about tracking these cases? I never faced a criminal charge (outside of a few violations) so am very unfamiliar with the court system. Out of curiosity, what do you think a 4 plant grow would "yield"?

Is this an attempt to make fun of me? Because if it is, that went over my head as well.

I'm not sure how often NORML updates its state-by-state maps and I was curious what a real sentence would be like for someone growing a few plants in NY. Would you be sentenced/prosecuted under federal/state law, or by the local DEA in your county? Also, how do LEO's determine how much a plant...

Warrants for spying - public v.s. private residences

I was wondering if people living in public housing, or housing subsidized by the gov't, are given the same rights as someone living in a private residence as far as needing a warrant to spy on a house/apt. In public housing/section 8, the gov't is your landlord and I know they would be willing...

Call me paranoid or alert but PLEASE CALL IT!!! Saw something very alarming today PIX

For the record those pics were taken at the last minute when I decided it would better help my story. They were way closer then that and slowed down over my building. Like I said before, I've lived in this neighborhood for a few decades, if this were a normal occurence I wouldn't have been...

I wouldn't have needed to come on a forum and ask a question to think what you've just typed. I was looking for peoples individual experiences regarding FLIR and to get more knowledge about what could have been happening. So far so good.

Your absolutely right in that this is a city... but when something like that happens, you see and hear about it. This was a lone chopper. I've seen a lot in this city, and one thing I know is that the police (even if its for a minor drug related car stop) always have a show of force. I got...

Call me paranoid or alert but PLEASE CALL IT!!! Saw something very alarming today PIX

I've found nothing on my local news site... but then again this was just one chopper, and there was no other type of police presence so I wasn't expecting anything to be making frontline news. I have a good view of my area outside the window and as the chopper wasn't making wide and far loops, I...

I also live in public housing. Not sure if I'm granted rights as if I were in a "private structure".

Well if they are surveilling me, I don't think I should fear sparing details at this point. I am also not posting from my the place where my ladies live. But I live in one of the boroughs of NYC, and I've never seen anything like this in my nearly 20 years living in this city. I was wondering if...
