make sure you kill every plant within a 3ft radius of ur plant... If ur gonna make an enclosure I would just use chicken wire fence since it wont be overly noticeable.... Im sure there is a thread on animal control in OUTDOOR GROWING
I have seen this done using recycling bins upside down... worked great.. just gotta make sure the medium(soil) is held in properly... and supply adequate side lighting
go to best buy and get 2 of their biggest/highest CFM computer fans they are around 20 bux each.
look on the computer fans and you see the specs like 12v DC and some other stuff.. ask someone where to find a universal DC power plug in. then find the plug with the specs that are on the fan...
first thing dont plant more than one seed in the same container... I always use 16oz beer cups which makes for easy transplanting.
usually I wait until I can see a nice amount of roots in the cup and the transplant from that into the finishing size pot...
first thing never plant more than one in the same pot!!!!!! so transplant those into separated containers#2 get the light closer cuz they are stretching...
then after they have been transplanted and under closer lights for a week or two and then cut off the very top 2 leaves. this will create...
I looks like it just sprouted by the sounds of it... it'll open up relatively quick.. also I would get 1 Cfls bulb instead of that fluro... this would work much more efficently
dude ull get more than 5g's with 5 42w cfls I would say for 1 plant 210w of cfls lots.. I use 5 42w cfls for my veg room with 8 plants under neath and a 400w for flowering... might as well not use the fluro tubes..
oh yea and more details man
looks very nice .. I would get some smoother mylar on the walls. I had the same thing going with crinkled mylar but switched to IR blocking Mylar bubble wrap from Reflectix and am way happier with the light efficiency.. also I wouldnt plant more than one seed in the same pot... using 16oz cups...
u only have 1 plant???? 5 42w will make a decent amount of heat.. Start the distance from the top of the plant at 1" and if you notice any burning or drooping etc step it back another inch or so...
