If you run it 24 hours a day you have to multiply the wattage with 24 hours and 30 days. Its that simple. So add the wattage of everything. Light fan..whatever and then multiply by 24 and then multiply by 30. When you read the meter you have to take the last reading minus the new one to get...

You would draw about 25A from that socket all the time In a 110V system. Man, that cant be right.....if theres something wrong with the ballast it would get pretty hot.

You must have read the meter wrong. I use 2000k in a year in a two bedroom apartment. What is your normal wattage if you dont count yor growing lights and stuff?
