Oh well I live in southern California. So far I think it's going to survive unless it dies of mold or something since the center of the stem is exposed.

Do you know if it will grow as a normal plant or will it eventually just give up and die?

I don't know how much light it's getting I just have it outside and move it when I notice it being in the shade.

So when it uses that energy is it going to die? Or will it continue to live and grow then flower again when the lighting is right?

So you can see the top part where I cut off the rest of the plant and you can start to see the little leaves that are growing.

Someone found this plant and removed most of the nugs. I've moved it but they took most of what was on it.
