i would not recommend on buying one. specially being new to growing they make it all sound great and easy but its actually a hassle changing the water is a pain unless you have a place to run your waste and another fill up spot directly next to your res. 2 u will need ph monitors water chillers those can get expensive u must monitor your res and plants hourly seems and it just doesnt add up in the end i would stick with a soilless or soil mix and buy a nice cheap miliwakee ph pen im tryin to sell my system atm and i am now using pro mix bx earthworm castings and super tea bat guano and i am 100% happy with it so my opinion is no dont buy hydro grow soil and grow organic youll thank me in the long run
