Can I get a hydro set up that goes no higher than 9".... or would it be better to stick to soil for my 9" clearance I have 9" to work with in my 26" x 26" x 48" scrog cabinet with 250 hps... and if a hydro kit can be achieved in 9" or less, would it still out perform 9" of soil?

it will probably work just like most other fan controllers... and like most others I would expect it to cause your motor to hum a little, which isn't that big of a deal because the sound gets masked by wind when you turn up the fan speed... so yeah it will probably work unless you wanna have...
