I would suggest mixing in some compost as well as some good store bought potting soil. Some manure or worm castings would probably do the trick.

Yeah, its absolutely a mixed, sativa dominant from the shape of the leaves. It would do well outdoors. If you are keeping it in the house though, don't expect a lot of budding. I strongly suggest some LST at this point before it gets any taller.
