welcome to the future! if you're going to build one of these, look for mist makers with the larger emitter (19mm vs 13mm) and ceramic coated disks. houseofhydro sells nice ones but they can be found elsewhere.

Have you sprayed anything? When you looked for pests, did you use a microscope or jeweler's loop?

I've heard that you can raise humidity in your dry space a bit to compensate for higher-that-ideal temperatures. If the bulk of the moisture is out of the buds it should be safe from mold.

Vent when humidity or temperature are too high. Assuming you can intake air from a dryer, cooler area.

Portable misting systems cool the air through evaporation in the same way. As the fine mist shoots out from the fan, some of it simply disappears. The mist that disappears has evaporated. Since this transformation requires heat, the molecules pull the heat they need from the air around them...
