a digital ballast wouldnt hurt my agrolite xt would it?

i have a 1000w phillips agrolite xt. magnum xxxl reflector. i was planning on getting a nextgen digital ballast, but what are your thoughts about it? what would be optimal? thanks :mrgreen:

forgot to add, i am using foxfarm light warrior for my seedlings and will transfer into 5 gallon pots of sunshine mix 4. the nutes i will be using are: Dyna-gro- grow, bloom, magpro, pro-tekt GH- floralicious plus Botanicare- sweet raw and great white(not sure which company)
