i was holding up a towel once near a 4ft blacklight fixture. the back of the towel was white. i noticed it reflected light like a motherf*cker. you need beach towels. asap. jk. but the white cloth is a MAYBE! also, i use black plastic. 1 layer of it (3 mil) is more than enough to keep light out.

assuming you germinated your seeds before planting, Chosen is right, should only take a couple days. As for the water, a good way to make sure you dont overwater is to check the top inch or two of soil for dryness. if it's dry, give it some water. i find it quite useful to have a moisture meter...

seems like that would depend on the number of plants you want to grow. if all you need is a 3x3 space.... then no need for light mover. though if you want to do the 3x6 space, you would probably find it easier and cheaper to get another light for the other 3x3 space. just my $.02 btw, i think...

haha, mine died too. its kinda hard to keep track of a shot glass amidst larger pots and plants. it is, however, still in my grow area. i leave there as a reminder of how much i suck.

i have seen it happen where plants will take over a month in 12/12 before showing hairs. just takes patience.

make sure you have the lights as close as you can to the plants without causing any stress. you have those lights pretty far away it looks, this can slow growth and cause stretching.

Thanks! Lights just came on in vegging section, got a pic of the clones. Not looking too bad, apparently my problem was just under-watering them. They've been soaking up in water all night, and appear to be quite happy. I'm watching to make sure it doesn't dry up too fast.

Well I'm feelin lucky this time around. Third try, let's see how it goes. I got three fresh cuttings, looking much better than my last batch. They are bigger, are an environment that will hopefully not kill them, and WILL LIVE GODDAMNIT! I swear if these die off like the rest, I'm callin it...
