The pots I grew in were very small, Only 10" pot so I think its like 1.5-2 gallon pot. I regret growing them in such a small pot I should have had 3 gallon bags at least but it didnt occur to me at the time I could get them at a hydroponics store haha. The pictures I took where there are no leaves was when I started to do the harvest trimming lol they didnt fall off like that. Plants outdoors will start to bud automatically as the summer progresses
    Happy to help!
Okay so you have to start in the vegetative stage where you have the lights set to 24 hours on or something like 18 on and 6 off which I did, its up to you. This helps them grow because they are getting a lot of light. You have to switch the lights to 12/12 to start the flowering cycle - this represents fall because the days are getting shorter and less hours of light. Now you can start all plants from 12/12 hours and they will start to show sex within 2-3 weeks but your plant will be very small because of no vegetative stage. I vegged mine for a month because I wanted more bud sites and a bigger plant = more yield. The autoflowering plants are made so that they start to show sex very early without changing the lights, this means that you will be able to have a harvest in as less as 50 days from germination. However these plants are small and not a huge yield so they are great if you are growing in a small space and want a fast harvest.
No 10$ total for all the pots, at any hardware store in the plants section the cheapest pots will be around $1.50 for the pot and 1.50 for the bottom. You also need to take just as good care of your male plant as your females, outside the bee's will pollinate your females. This is why I suggest unless you plan on only getting seed this season that you keep you male atleat 1 square mile or more away from your other females, you can take you female though and put it with your male for seed.
Well there is a few problems with your plan. Pots are cheap so you mine aswell get like 6-8 pots (10$) you dont want roots intertangling. The 2 litre idea is all good, but the seed idea is a little more complicated. I totally understand you wanting to reproduce your genetics by pollinating one of your females to recreate seed, but this gets a little tricky, let me tell you why. Lets say you have 8 females and 1 mail and your looking to pollinate one of your females, the female that your looking to pollinate and the male must be placed atleast 1 sqr Mile away from your other females or those ladies will also become pollinated and produce seed instead of that lovley herb.
3/3 : If you have poked the hole correctly you should get a drip of water every few seconds when holding the 2 litre up, sit this 2 litre in the pot at the base of your plant and depending on the size of your whole it should keep your plants moist for upto a week. I also would probably recomend that you plant 1 plant per pot, multiple plants in a single pot can cause unwanted problems. (Its overall easier planting 1 plant per pot)
Watering from the stream should be fine but if you are not sure get a ph tester and check the streams ph, if its within 5.5-6.5 then the water should be useable but if its not with the proper ph range you will have to water by hand or with the 2 litres. When watering by hand if your soil mix is mixed correctly and has proper water retention and drainage you should only need the water once every 5-7 days depending on the temp. Glad to answer a fellow growers questions. HAPPY GROWING!
2/3 : Before you plant your seeds be sure to germinate them in some distilled or bottled water, simply fill a cup half way with bottles water and then drop your seeds in. Once your seeds are in the cup of water just place it in a warm dark area (pitch black), within 2 or 3 days your seeds should have split open showing their first sign of roots, carefully take the seed and plant it in the pot with the root facing downward and thats all there is to planting a seed. As for the 2 litre bottle idea, it works quite effectivly if you just poke one very small hole (needle size) in the bottom of the 2 litre opposed to poking a hole in the lid.
1/3 : No Problem bro, growing marijuana is just a passion of mine and Im glad to share this valuable knowledge with anyone thats interested. Calling marijuana a drug is absurd it should be known as a natural herb, but thats a whole other topic. Ok since you live with your parents you may not be able to start your seedlings indoors, but if your a risk taker you can build or construct a basic little mini seedling chamber in your bedroom at your parents without them even knowing. All you will need is 1 or 2 20watt compact flourescent lights or 1 flourescent tube light, this is sufficient lighting for seedlings and will be enough to start them and develop a good healthy root system.
