I watered ACT into it yesterday, just gonna put it all back into the bins with the rig moisture level already achieved this time and not add any additional water. Then definitely gonna make sure to turn it every now and then. Thanks for the advice man.
Well good for u...? Obviously shit can...
Yea, was trying to follow directions as closely as possible, so yes, lids were closed and I added about half a gallon of water to each container. Gonna use the mesh screen for a top idea, and not add water this time.
So after spreading the whole batch out on my garage floor, the smell...
I once had a batch of SS go bad on me, didn't know what had happened and used it anyway: ended up throwing the whole grow out about 20 days into bloom things were looking so terrible. I guess that's why I'm so worried, id been told not to worry that time too, lol.
So yesterday after discovering that my batch of super soil I intended to use he gone anaerobic, I decided to go ahead and up pot my new crop into just plain ROPS and th en feed with teas until I can fix my supersoil batch. So I headed to the hydro store and purchased 30 bags of ROPS and had the...
I've recently mixed a batch of SS and it's been sitting for about a month and a half now. I added a small amount of water to each container, trying to follow subs advice as closely as possible and have bee letting the container s sit in my garage which is constantly between 60-80degrees. So...
An update for anyone who was curious (I've gotten more than a few pms on this thread) : I let the soil dry out somewhat, I noticed the ammonia smell seemed to have died down and I went ahead and used the soil. The results were terrible. I ended up throwing out the entire crop about 25 days in...
Maybe I'm reading into this... But, if the soil dries out, is that a problem that simply re-wetting won't fix? I've had a problem with a batch before and I always thought it was because I used too much water while cooking, so I thought I'd stay toward the drier side this time, but don't wanna...
Whats up everyone, got some pics to share! This is my latest Master Bubba, my fourth run with her. This clone was topped once and vegged for 2months in a 20gal roots pot with some super soil lining the bottom. I flipped on the first of this month and right now shes sittin pretty, centered under...
So should you should still add cal mag back to the water even if you add in the powdered calmag in the soil mix?
When I saw the update to the recipe, and saw that you recommended adding powdered cal mag to the mix if using RO water, I figured this would eliminate the need for adding cal mag...
Could someone tell me which powdered calmag they used?
Sorry if it's a simple question but Id rather ask here then guess on my own, im having no luck. Thanks in advance!
I have never smelled blood meal. The only thing that stunk was the fish bone meal, and even that smell was gone after getting it into the containers and adding water, in my experience at least. The soil definitely does not stink now
