    Dynasty Genetics Thread

Last year I grew Dynasty's Moose and Lobsta and Rare Dankness' Ghost Train Haze. Neither one seemed to develop amber trichomes. Eventually, I took them down at 85 days, and was quite happy with the result. My two favorite strains, in fact. Much to my surprise, JBC sent me a Dynasty freebie of...

Advanced Nutrients PH perfect in soil.

Nice looking plants. Where I live it gets really dry in the fall, so keeping it moist is critical. A small room in my basement is close to a steady 60 degrees F. I put in a humidifier with an Inkspot controller. It keeps the RH in a 55%-65% range. So after a few weeks or a little more, at a...

    Best Smoking Devices

My first flower vaping experiences were with cheap little units, and I thought they didn't get me as high as a joint. Years later, I tried a Stortz & Bickle "Plenty." A world of difference. The plenty has no batteries, so it has to be plugged into 120V, and it uses a lot of weed per charge. But...

    Best Smoking Devices

For efficiency, (getting the most out of a small amount) nothing beats the HerbalAire. But it's also the fussiest and takes many minutes. The Pax3 is a great grab and go quick hitter, but it benefits from stirring up the oven contents after the first hits, packing it down, and taking another...

    Best Smoking Devices

Do you really mean "smoking"? As a lifetime Cannabis smoker, I've now switched to vaping organic flower. My lungs are so grateful. A quality vape for flower is a great investment.

Best weed to help with side effects of Chemo.

Take a look at Moose & Lobsta by Dynasty. Has CBD and very medicinal terpenes.

    Rare dankness/rd genetics

My last two plants in 2021 were Dynasty's Moose and Lobsta and Rare Dankness' Ghost Train Haze. Grown indoors, organic soil, LED lights. Both of them seemed to benefit from a long flowering time, at least 80 days. GTH was a short plant, because of a lot of topping and trimming, but the yield was...

    Fainting while High

Google "Vasovagal syncope" it happened to me a few times. Empty stomach, glass of red wine, couple of hits...and you need to get low fast, so you don't get hurt in the fall. Look at what was going on at the time. You may be able to identify triggers.

    Bud rot? Location Toronto

My third year growing in the Northeast, but my first crop to be threatened by bud rot. It was a week of cold and damp that set it off. Once you see it on a plant, you will see more of it. It moves throughout the plants vascular system. I freeze right after trimming affected buds, then make ice...

I am not noticing a smell of the bud,two months have gone by

You're not smelling the bud because you don't have any yet. But those plants look nice and healthy! What is the strain?

    Non-identical twins

Two seeds from the same packet, grown with the same soil (Farmer Joe's), under the same lights, (HLG LEDs). The plant on the left has issues, but are they genetic? It's Anaphylaxis, from Mass Medical.

1st sign of orange pistils is it time to flush

Cannabis cultivation is rife with debate over many aspects of cultivation. Sometimes it's based on "Bro' Science," which often in turn is based on post hoc ergo propter hoc logic. That's a fancy way of saying that one thing caused another, because it happened after. The classic is the rooster...

    Secondary Seed Market?

With the legality of hemp seed sales, has anyone established a forum for growers to buy and sell seeds to each other (not through a bank)? Like eBay, but "Seed-bay." I seem to buy more than I can grow out. While I understand prohibition against other kinds of sales, aren't seeds an exception?

WHERE TO BY GOOD SEED STOCK

I had a run of very poor autos from i49. Dwarfism and very low yield. I did get a feminized Afghan/Skunk photoperiod that was great. They are a little slow to process, too. If you are out west, then JBC. MIdwest, Great Lakes. East Coast DC Seed exchange or Well Grown Seeds. Great Lakes has...

    Old Timer Grandpa strains help

I remember them all well. But I wouldn't try to grow them in Maine. Even indoors, the long flowering times burn a lot of energy. I'm hoping that crosses with classic Sativas and Ruderalis will result in a plant that gives a Sativa high from three or four months of growing.
