I think you should be ok. The temps in the tent should be right around whatever the temp is in the attic. As long as the fan is good enough, and the temps in the attic are ok, you should be fine. You might have to get a heater up there when it starts getting cold.

What if you lose your job, and have to relocate for your new job? You have to try and sell the house. If the house sits empty, you still have to pay for taxes, lawn care, electric, ect. This happened to me. Just recently sold the house. Lost about $20000 from what i paid for it. Not fun paying...

Don't water until you see the first signs of wilting. Then water them and check em about an hour after and see how they are looking
