i just opened up my resavoir and stuck my nose in and it defintly doesnt smell right....its been less then a week but i relized i forgot to get a bubble stone for the new setup im gonna change that watter right now and make sure to get a bubble stone tommorow and hopefully that will fix things

if anything i thought that my ppm is kinda low for the size of the plants and i was planing on increasing the strength to more like 600ppm. i do admit i am brand new to hydro this is my first flood/drain setup. does the ppm of my resavior even need to be stronger than 1/4-3/8 strength(300-450ppm)?

My tap water unfiltered is only 50 ppm. Should i worry about filtering or letting it sit out for 24 hours? Or do you think im safe coming straight out of the faucet(adjusting the ph of course)?
