thanks man the banana peel and eggshells from what i have read and heard from farmers not corn farmer!!!!! that they were some form of a fertilizer im a newb so i am impressionable but can you real say useless when the plant is doing what is supposed to it may not be helping but it's not hurting...

it realy depends on your grow area if you have room and the light to accomidate go til the plant is mature enough or do like i did started mine at 7" and i will end up with just enough room

so i have two females i took clone and i didn't use any root gel just cut and stuck in the dirt and i have success the only reason i did it was cuz i thought they were all males.....wooops but there fine here's some pics
