    DEER!! Help! They're eating everything

I seriously had no idea they could climb. Now I know how it ate my green bean plants too. Couldn't figure out how it got over the fence until I watched it climb

    DEER!! Help! They're eating everything

So, I have not visited this post since I made it. Lots of good information and lots of bad information. As it turns out it is not a deer at all. I assumed it was because the plants were getting eaten up high but what I found out is it is actually a woodchuck scaling the chicken wire and sitting...

    DEER!! Help! They're eating everything

I'd shoot them even if not in season but I never see the damn deer. I only know it's deer because the fencing is 5ft tall and everything above the fence is getting devoured. Like it's walking up and just eating.

    DEER!! Help! They're eating everything

What do you guys do about deer? I've never had this issue, only rabbits and small animals. The deer go over my fencing and are eating everything. I'm going to have nothing left soon. I've tried a spray deer repellent that smells like hot urine, made me gag and it stopped them for about 2 days...

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

I spray BT 2x per week as soon as they form flowers. I lost a bunch to worms last season, taking no chances this season.

    Purple top phytoplasma disease.

I had it in some of my plants last summer. I cut a lot away and finally just gave up and decided to let the plants with the coloration just grow. It ended up clearing up in most of the plants on its own. It may have hurt yield a little, not really sure, but I just grow for myself and had grown...

    Outdoor autos, when to harvest?

    Outdoor autos, when to harvest?

My question is basic, should I harvest my outdoor autos by the trichomes or by the clock? I have one that looked done 2 weeks ago but had no amber trichomes. Now it looks like it's revegging, it's growing foxtail looking pieces and round edge leaves from the buds. It germinated 5/1.

So, I think I am seeing that with one of mine. The trichomes still look cloudy with no amber but it's forming round edge leaves out of the buds. I think I'm going to chop it tomorrow. Do you harvest an auto by trichromes or by the clock?

    Outdoor Autos, Problems and Solutions

I have 2 autos that stunted for no real reason. The other autos and photos are doing well. This is my first time growing autos. So far I'm not very impressed. I'm not expecting much at all off of them.

    First time grower in NY

I was examining mine and decided to chop the top half of two plants due to bud rot. Found more of it than I had been seeing. Very disappointing. Fortunately they were almost done. The remaining half plants still have some time and the other 2 full plants still have time. Hopefully it stays dry.

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

I've gone to spraying every two days. 1 plant has about a week or two before harvest and the others have a little longer. My next battle will be frost.

Damn that's heart breaking. Hope you still have a nice haul once you trim away the bad stuff

Damn that sucks. I'm probably a week or two away myself and trying to hold out but cool temps, the rain we just had, and now caterpillars are making it tough. Found one caterpillar and drenched everything in Monterey BT. Hopefully that takes care of the caterpillar. Hopefully the weather drys...
