Hey you guys seem Experienced i just germed some Lr2s For 2 days there's a small tap root popping out does it matter how long the tap root is when you plant it or will it still grow?

I know i might sound like a Retard but i just got a T8 2 ft flourecent fixture and i just wanna ask how tha fuck you wire this thing? i meen its not like traditional cfls where your get a fixtue that you plug in the wall so if anyone can help me out that would be helpful
