Under 18/6 they grow faster then the roots do though which can be a problem later in the grow as the plants will start leaning unable to support the height and weight.

So, I'm Newbie for sure. First grow. I'm in my 5th week of vegging. I got 5 plants under 2 100W CFL lights, and im growing in soil (MiracleGro...all i can get). The plants are between 8"-9" going on to their 6th and 7th nodes. I've noticed that where the stem and the nodes are meeting there...
