I have a question.
I'm aware that the number of blades on fan leaves decreases as the plants progresses towards flowering however being only a couple of days past solstice I notice mine putting out 3 blade fan leaves already just in the last couple of days.
I am still going hard with vegetative...
I veged mine for a long time. About 4 weeks
They pushed up a bit after flowering but nothing too crazy.
They are looking really good.
Not sure what type of Diesel they are.
They are very dense and stocky and with still 4 weeks to go look promising.
Yeah I don't know, my conditions were perfect...
Leonardo,
I can confirm that extreme temperature changes will often create favorable conditions for powder mold.
As others have mentioned.
Check your PH. You really want it a bit acid (not too much)
I don't grow in soil so for me that means about 5.8-6.0.
Check your hunidity (50% or lower)
I use...
Hit them tonight with a Serrenade solution prior to seeing your post.
My friend swears by it and says it's safe.
Checked my PH, and Humidity.
Also noticed some leaf curling and purple edging on some of the leaves.
Fingers crossed.
If that doesn't work I'll go with the neem oil.
What...
A friend of mine and myself grew Orange last year in Northern Ca.
I mean way North
It was very good much like Train wreck in size and yield.
We did it with nice hot days and foggy nights and it rocked.
Should do fine in So Cal.
We got them going inside and put them out just after the 4th of...
Chronic,
Don't know about Wallmart. Doubt it.
Any good grow store that sells Botanicare products will have it.
I have not seen one in my area that doesn't.
Very mainstream.
Soil is not an issue as I am in soiless media and using an Ebb and flow.
In regards to a Sulphur burner....
This is where my ignorance kicks in.
What do they cost?
How often do you use it?
Are there issues of toxicity to young children and pets
from fumes?
Can you please fill me in?
A friend of...
In regards to PH.
I think I'm right on.
Acid is the way to go and 5.8 is right where I want to be.
Lower being more acidic.
Think I will go with the serrenade and see what happens.
Ok,
So whats the best cure once you have it?
Especially late in the game?
Sulphur burning or is there a foliar spray safe to use in the last 4 weeks
that won't ruin the buds?
Week six of flowering.
Spotty Powder mold.
Not yet out of control.
Crop other wise very healthy and kicking ass.
Ph sitting at 5.8 -6.0.
Humidity between 35% and 50% and controlled.
Sm-90 been applied 3 times total throughout the process during the vegetative state as a prevntative foliar...
Decent buds I have.
They look great. Right whwer they should be.
I have been growing since 85' so most is not new to me.
My humidity ranges between 35 and 50% so I don't think that is an issue.
Maybe I'll up the PH. I had been advised to lower it to avoid mold so now I don't know what to think...
Thanks Potroast,
Good to know about the Kool Bloom.
I'm all about organic, always have been and plan on staying that way.
I'm about week 4 now considering a bit of Awesome blossom around week 6.
Other than that it's
Pure Blend pro and a godd water flush all the way.
Anyone here actually grown it?
I have been told it is very susceptible to powder mold.
I'm into week 4 of flowering and seeing some traces although I have maintained my humidity at 35% and kept my PH at 5.8.
I have also been using SM-90 as a preventative both in my reservoir,
and sparingly as a...
Pure blend leaves so much less salt build up than the General Hydroponics.
I started with the GH and it worked well but the salt build up was so much more than the Pure blend and the pure blend came as an all in one bottle solution.
I'd check it out. Been there, done it.
Want less work, cleaner...
