If you used something like this As a pot, would it work? The soil would be getting a lot of ventilation but the roots might grow out through sides and die.

I tried that, I used duct tape, and it didn't work great. Any other ideas??

So whats to be done? The plant fell over a few weeks ago and that half of the stem snapped. I put some tape over it, but then I noticed some mold growing on the broken stem part. What should I do about the mold and what should I do about the broken stem?

Have you considered that maybe the people who own the land found them, and just uprooted them, because they didn't want a grow op on their property?
