I checked the resevoir, slime all over the airstone. Looks like root rot. I have had hygrozyme in the water for about a week now and they show a few new white roots so that encourages me. Should I trim the brown roots, leaves? Should the roots be totally submerged in water for a while?

I have a home made, light proof aeroponic system with 3 plants. I am about 2 months into the life cycle. Ionic is the name of the nutrient solution. The resevoir is 10 gallons. 1 Airstone. 18-6 light cycle. Water pump is on for 15 min/off for 30 min...for both day and night. Around 70 degrees F...
