Very nice thread! Do you guys ever add pumice or any aeration to your bins?

Quick question about charging BioChar... How long do I need to soak it with my urine in order to "charge" it.

I'm about ready to mixup my soil, but I don't have my aeration yet. It will still be about a week until I have the biochar and pumice. Would it be OK to let my soil mix "cook" without the aeration in it, just to get things going? Or should I wait until I have the aeration first?

A simple 301 redirect would do the trick.

Mix neem meal, Karanja meal, and/or crab meal or another source of chitin like insect meal into your soil. The key is to prevent them. Use yellow sticky traps if you have them. Also checkout granular BTI topdressing.

Checkout buildasoil.com and look into their nutrient kit to make your own soil. Inexpensive and easy. The growing system that's outlined on their website is fantastic and all you need for the highest quality bud around. Be sure to checkout the ROLS sticky in the organic section too.
