I always go from my veg cycle to flower in chunks. I believe straight 18/6 to 12/12 may cause shock

Potassium isn't absorbed properly when there is too much calcium or nitrogen in your plants system. Check the ph of your water...
The "claw" look of the leaf tips is classic nitrogen toxicity. If you can confirm that by using a guide, i would then use plain water until the nutrients level out
