I've read that if humidity is above 60% it can produce mold and stunt plant growth (stomata closes). Humidity now gets as high as 73%. I'm going to post some pics soon so you can see the setup.
So right now I'm using 2 gallon pots with coco. I have a total of 16 of them in there.
After this grow I'll set it up with 3x3 trays with hydroton.
I'm watering by hand this grow...Is there anything to do in the meantime?
When I go to the 3x3 trays in hydroton will that help?
I really don't...
I can't get my humidity down to the 40's where I need them. It's 52-66 all the time.
I have 2 600 w lights being cooled by a 400 cfm 6" fan. Temps stay between 68-80.
Then I have a second 400 cfm 6" fan extracting air with a can filter on. I have 3 passive holes near the floor of the room the...
True but I don't think I'll have a problem having my growroom too cold in the summer. I'm at 73 degrees with one 600 watt so I'll assume with both 600's i'll be close to 80. I just don't want to dole out 200 bucks and then realize the room's too warm in a few months (when it's summertime) and...
Alright. So getting a higher cfm fan won't completely do the trick then, huh.
If that's the case, does anyone else use a good dehumidifier that doesn't blow too much heat? Lower wattage prefered but the heat would be the most important.
Thanks for the input marantz.
I have a 5 by 7 room that's 6.25 feet tall.
I have 2 600 watt lights but I'm only using one since half my plants were males.
So there's 4 plants in 2 gallon containers so they're medium sized plants (2-3 feet tall).
My humidity has been 50-70% the last week or so. I don't know how to get it...
Is there such a thing? I know every strain is different and has their plus and minuses but is there a strain that has:
1)Top 5 smoke quality
2)Top 5 yield producing
3)Top 5 smell and bag appeal
4)Will grow in 9 weeks or less
5)Is easy to clone
6)Responds well to topping
7)Easy to manicure...
If I use staples you'd be able to see a bunch of staples all around the cabinet from the outside.
Anyone else who actually have applied black and white poly on metal?
What's the best way to apply black and white poly to a meal cabinet?
Do I use glue (if so what kind) or some kind of double sided tape? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
