Sweet jesus I'm lazy. Sorry for the delay but plants are both going fantastic. Both showing 5 sets of leave and are about 10cm tall. Anyone know when I should start giving them some ferts?

Whoops sorry guys almost forgot I made this journal! Both seedlings broke the soil today so I'm a very happy man haha. Setting up the lighting has had anything but that affect though. The first bulb I purchased was cracked and the second bulb (a replacement) blew out after three hours...

Won't be doable tonight (its 8pm here) but I will try to tomorrow. In the meantime, what do you think I should do with the plants? They're really only at the seedling stage (I germinated them and transferred them to the soil 5 hours ago). How long before they break the soil / need light?

Hey everyone, So I bought a BRAND NEW 400W HPS bulb two days ago... plugged it in, works for roughly two hours, I check on it and it's off. I switch the ballast on/off a few times and it still won't work (keeps making a faint clicking sound). The buld has the long, faint, white streak running...

Using an oscillating fan atm. Doesn't seem to be too hot in there

Yo everyone, So i recently bought a 400W HPS Bulb (with ballast) and a large shader. I currently don't have any method for air flow - my question is, do I need one (how hot will it get in there)? The growing area is under a wooden stairwell (and there are quite a few carpet off-cuts in there)...
