I am growing outside, so there isn't any light. They are on the deck and growing taller than the deck, so for privacy I want to limit thier height.

My plants are getting too tall for my deck, so I want to tie them down somehow. i remember seeing someone pull the tops down and tie them to something so the tops are not facing up but lateral or down. Does anyone have any tip on what to tie them to, how to bend them and what to use to tie them?
