I see you have some background with willow growth hormones, so perhaps you know if it's any good to use willow infusion instead of regular water when watering the plants. Will is make them grow more roots of veg faster? Or is does hormone only work for cloning?

Buddy, believe me, there are a whole bunch of countries around that don't offer the multitude of options in the shelves for every little thing in life. I've been to a bunch of garden supply stores and they've never even HEARD of perlite or vermiculite... And I don't live in a small city. Yeah...

When you live outside the US, this "alittle shippin" becomes up to 10 times the actual price of the perlite, which is totally impractical... That's what I meant by "I can't get a hold of perlite" and hence the question. Thanks for the reply, anyway.

Splitting the room is a great idea! You could have a mother/clone in one area and a perpetual SOG on the other, fresh smoke for ever! Do you know the concept?

Things seem to be going fine, that's a neat space you've got there! How strong are those CFLs? You could keep the plants in the corner, move the reflector and make a temporary wall to make the room tighter and increase side reflection on the lower branches. A low ceiling on the box will also...

How old are yours? Are they the ones in your avatar pic? They look nice, should make you happy soon! :eyesmoke: Do you have a journal or more pics? Do you plan on training them in any way? SOG, SCrOG, FIM, or whatever growing letter soup? Keep your plants short unless you're going to use side...

Added a power supply fan and two cpu coolers from old pcs around the house... A K6 and a Celeron PII type of old! Scavenging to try to improve ventilation, things got at 43C (110F) in the afternoon, the trio should help get the hot air out. There are still a couple of simple changes I intend on...
