all soil at first has nutes in it. however by the time your plant gets to flowering the nutes are spent. all nutes are different. some are for veg, some for preflower , and fulll on flower. ..etc your plant wants to eat, how often you feed it and what you feed it will change the outcome majorly...

is it a powder or liquid.. i have powder to apply at night for a snack by spray ( only a verry little of the mix). and when i feed i use the foxfarm trio. grow big ,tiger bloom, big bloom, which is liquid i also use a root stabalizer to help the rootzone obsorbe more nutes. depends on pot size...
