If your using coco you are going to want to flush your medium every couple of feedings. the fertilizer salts will build up in the coco as the plant draws water out of the solution, this will also affect your PH so a flush as often as possible will prevent this. Sounds like thats whats going on...

dont rip the cfl dude. thats how i started out as well. we do what we can with what we can. I have moved on to a 150hps but got decent results with cfl...... course i was running 20 of them suckers! and i only need a little bit of medication to get me to my next harvest. small setups work good...
