Not really but it would save on electric and your plants will be happier if the lights are to close due to height restrictions.

Just remember with really powerful lights unless you have the height or high levels of co2 they will spend most of their time running on 75% or less

The LED,s are a it of a learning curve when you switch from HPS. My first grow with the Migro was atrocious.

It was a game changer for me as I grow in an outbuilding and couldn’t get the airflow without it being freezing. Took 90 oz from 8 plants and one of the 8 was very poor (from seed).
