Damnit Red, I feel for you mate. This was one superb grow and to have this happen just on the finishing line... you must be gutted. Hopefully you've got to it in time. Crossing my fingers for you bud.
Thanks for the pics Jake! Lookin good so far brother. If the super-cropping is getting results, why stop? I'm new to SCing and have had some great results with my ML'd girls - the stress done early in my grow has saved me with their ability to bounce back from adversity and also helps...
After all that, I managed to salvage another run of next-gen clones. Two off the Pineapple Chunk clone, and five off of the Amnesia mother. Going back to the 2-week water-soak method that produced my first 2 original clones - if they produce mains that fat, I'm all in... like Lara Flynn...
The Amnesia - the survivor of all things that can go wrong on a first grow - had to be pruned back to the first node from the third branching, as the extreme damage produced stunted growth from more than half of the eight mains. Therefore, I decided to test her resilience once more and topped...
As for the Pineapple Chunk? Going beautifully, however I was a bit rough on her when tying her down and I split the bloody main stem straight own the guts! I tied her back together with gardening wire and she is already recovering well. All seven remaining mains are looking healthy. Another...
Well, been a very busy couple of weeks amigos. Got married :D Moved house. Had to do a stealth mission to relocate the grow as the landlord's daughter turned up unannounced at the bunker and busted the grow! Got a new job and just finished re-topping and defoliating the remaining girls. All...
Totally agree mate. She's like a Kelpie, but with that pure-black short staffie hair. A tops mistake when a kelpie jumped my mates back fence when his bitch was on heat. She was the only mix out of the litter.
And my little best mate, Champion (or 'Knackers' as my old-man calls him hahaha!) Purebred Amstaff pup - an ignorant but loveable pig who's more switched-on then he lets on most of the time...
My 1 year old half Amstaff, half kelpie... Betty (and her mate Honey who belongs to the parents - half foxie, half pom I think?) Very crafty, sooky, affectionate and a bloody guts! Love her...
And as for the original clones? After clearing off the burned mess a few days ago, I had little hope until I checked a couple of days ago. Now look at 'em both power back like true champions. The PC is in the closeup...
With a lot of left over foliage to play with, I decided this time to forgo the water method and go with a trick a horticulturalist mate of mine told me a few weeks ago - I spliced the cut-off stem and after soaking them in water and squeezing out all of the air bubbles, I dipped them in honey...
Well, after a bit of mental wrestling, I figured that I've come this far with the mainlining, why stop now? After some heavy surgery, I managed to get 7 out of the original 8 mains on the Pineapple chunk - what a bloody trooper! Letting them both grow out for a couple of weeks without any...
Well... busy day running around like a blue-arsed blowfly. Ended up at the bunker on my way home and what a beautiful sight greeted me - both mothers and clones have survived with gusto! Last visit I administered a Yates kelp veg-grow diluted at half-strength into the water. Today - the light...
