Blue Dream is an easy to grow sativa dominant hybrid that's been flooding California in recent years. It produces well indoors, but you find a lot of commercial outdoor gardens growing Blue Dream these days. I forget if it was a special pheno of original haze or one of the million haze hybrids...
Sunlight Supply recommends moving up to 8" if you plan on running 4+ reflectors in a row...you should be good. With that said, I really like Adjust-a-Wings...I think they're the way to go if you can control your temp/humidity. Seal the room, spend some extra $$$ on a nice air...
It's possible for some leaves to die off when the plant gets larger, but they should be few and far between...anything shaded/under the main canopy will most likely die off, but you should clean that stuff out before it ever gets to that point.
Yes, if your ph was up around 8 then EVERYTHING besides Nitrogen and Magnesium has (possibly) been locked out. Set it to 5.5, let it drift to 6.0, and then reset it back down to 5.5...you want some drift, but never above 6.2 (in hydroponics) IMHO. Best of luck!
They're pretty hurt, but bring your ph to 5.5 and you might be able to save them...I'm guessing some soil contaminated your system causing the ph to creep.
Classic Calcium deficiency. Coco loves it...sucks it all up...leaves little/nothing for your plants...especially if you're using RO water...Botanicare's Cal Mag + and you should be straight.

Ballast ---> Lamp Cord ---> (Through Wall) ---> Lamp Extension Cord ---> Reflector...You can run the cord just an inch or 2 into the room...instead of a wall plate it will be a hanging outlet...same effect.
I would try an extension cord...even if you don't need the full length you can coil it up...but it would give you the extra plug you're looking for...and you wouldn't damage the original cord. A 1" hole and some Silicon and you're finished with the installation lol
Not enough info...and no one can give you a (safe) answer without an inspection. Hopefully your friend's friend can figure this one out...12,500 watts is no joke
Pro-Grip Ratchets are rated for up to 150 lbs...they're the shit. Multiple XXXLs can get heavy if you're in a tent, but they're only about 30 lbs each...almost 10 lbs lighter than the Raptor.
Both of those units will exchange (a lot of) air, but I would avoid single hose units all together. If you're in a bind and only have a $500 budget, I would check out Home Depot/Lowe's...I'm sure you can find something comparable to the Active Air for less $$$.
