Took long enough for me to update but the Shooting Powder is officially in the garbage. Even on the GSC and Grape Ape I still got a lot of foxtailing.
Can't preach the greatness of Top Booster enough though. I know it's a once a cycle product but I am actually trying it twice on a Ghost Train...
It very well may because they list the product for use the last 3+ weeks of flower, but I think it is due to timing of the last budding cycle. I have never used it with anything but Blue Dream which is known for foxy buds. I have Girl Scout Cookie (Forum Cut) and Grape Ape that I might try it on...
If you are going to keep the lower branches side lighting is the way to go. However consider the fact that the brightest lights penetrate deeper into the bud causing denser more massive growth. For this reason allowing buds to flourish outside of the range of the brightest lights is arguably a...
Never have water temp problems outside of a freak 103F day (happened 2 years ago, I live in Western WA. WTF!) I also find that once your girl is big enough her fan leaves do a pretty good job of keeping you reservoir cool. Another good call would be keep your air pump outside of the grow area so...
The bud smell could be due to your strain or your curing process. Without proper curing its easy for your buds to smell like grass or nothing. Check out the Harvest and Curing section. Trial and error. Kind of weird that we want something so many people try to hide to reek so bad you can smell...
Alright call it hype. I use it and I notice a difference. It's inexpensive and you only have to use it once per plant. Call me crazy if I notice a difference in bud size and density. Good talk.

I figure the product website telling me it is derived from carbohydrates, vitamins B&E and plant extract is a pretty solid guideline.
NPK just tells you the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. It doesn't tell you the rest of the ingredients nor is it a...
The theory that plants can uptake to whatever the needs means more-or-less that the plant will not under feed itself if the nutrients are offered properly. You take any species of anything and give it abundance it will take in more than it needs. Think of it like a fat person.
As far as...
Couldn't agree more. If I let my roots dry out for 4-5 days the plants done. Why do anything after that you just starved it to death. Maybe go low enough in the rez where most of the roots are exposed but still have something to drink. Otherwise that I can't see this doing anything.
I've had my...
If you baby it and take her nice and easy, any plant can come back. The quality of the finish is the big question. No way to tell what will happen with that until you get there.
