ic ic, thanks for all the replies. btw, awesome plants, mygirls!! i vegged for about 60 days on my last grow but they werent as big as ur monster, lol. to top it off, they all died from what i think was rootbound so here i am starting over.. :(

have any of you successfully cloned the strain big bud? i was reading it is harder to clone than most, but is it impossible? i took a cutting that never rooted, had it for about a month. although i did not use any gel or rooting powder and not sure if the humidity was right.. just wondering...

hey everybody, i'm starting a new grow and was wondering if 700w was too much light for 4 plants.. i have a 400w hps and 11 26w cfl's over 3 seedlings and a clone.

wow, our setups are almost exactly the same.. i read thru your thread (a whopping 50 pages lol) and your plants look great! you're so lucky you got all girls-- hope i do too..

i think i found the light i'm getting: http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=45680 it's $200 and doesn't include the bulb but it's the best i've seen so far.. the bulbs are like $40 on ebay so all together it'll be under $250. they (htgs) have a 1000w too, but it's like 90 bucks more

thanks oregon, i think i might get something like that and buy the bulb on ebay too. not too good at wiring those kinda things but a friend might be.. do these put off noise and if so, how much? i've read about the digital ballasts being silent but they're wayyy too expensive.

yeah i wanted to go with a 600 or 1000w hps, but i didn't see any on e-conolight. does anyone have a link for either? preferably under $200 :mrgreen:

lol, do it right indeed.. well i think instead of forking over $300+ on a 600w hps system, i'll just buy 4 of those 150w hps pendants from e-conolight for like $130 and hang one above every plant.. that way each plant gets 150w. heat may be a problem tho, is there any diy tutorials for cooltubes?

i'm growing 4 plants of Big Bud (nirvana) and was wondering if it was possible to yield a pound.. my setup is indoor, soil, under (12) 26w CFL and 150w hps (during flower). i was hoping to get about 4oz per plant, is this a realistic goal?
