thanks for the reply. you are right the lights i posted previously are only 100watts, way less than what i need. however after a lot of research into this topic i have decided to go with 2 LED lights with a power draw of 250 watt, so 500 true wattage in a 4x4. this is the amazon page. i believe...
after reading all the information you guys have provided i have decided to buy 2of these 250watt lights. i think 500 watts is a good compromise for the 4x4, i would like 600 watts like a couple here have suggested and shown but i couldnt find any at the price range i wanted it seems the prices...
thank you for this i didnt think of that. i might just run the lights on one outlet and pull the rest to a separate outlet
oh so thats how they get those figures. i guess i see the logic they are trying for but it still seems very dishonest
i am looking into the fold8. it looks nice and seems like a good long term light. more than i wanted to pay but it looks relatively cheaper than other lights with equal wattage and at this point i know im going to be spending more than i want to anyway.
thanks for the insight. i was lucky however i was able to refund the purchase while it was still in transit, other new growers im sure have not been so lucky!
is the power draw and the output different if so how does it output more than it draws? it doesnt right it seems like that would be impossible. im an amateur in both of these fields, growing AND electrical so i feel like this practice of advertising inflated numbers is genuinely just to trick...
I did all this research just to find out recently that the wattage stated on these vendor's products aren't the true wattage of the lights at all many times being an entire 1/6th or lower. This really confuses me now. Can more experienced growers please give me insight into this? How is this so...
ok i refunded the packages mid transit. i am thinking of the mars hydro ts 600watt lights. they dont seem to have that blue/purple hue emitting from the led's but i dont know the actual wattage output since i am now just learning these classifications are misleading. do you have any insight to...
yeah thats exactly what they are i bought them because they were cheap and had a bunch of good reviews. i might try to return them i really wanna get decent yields
