Thanks. The leak is from a filter attached to the boiler. Its nothing to do with my rads. My boiler is due a service anyway so im guessing the plumber will fix and service in the same visit. The only reason he will want access to the room is to check if the rad is working. I guess i'm answering...

Thanks man, its a 2 floor house and my room is upstairs, so cant really say about the dog. He has his crate that he will be in downstairs.
