Actually most growers are probably great and varied in when they cut down. it all depends on what kind of end result you want. more heady(more cloudy) vs couch lock (amber/cloudy). After a while I myself don't even look at the trichromes anymore I just go by how the whole plant looks and is acting.

Just like the title suggests. When I start out I was told not to take cuts from cuts that it will "break" your genetics, or they'll go bad. I haven't seen it first had but I've heard stories. So I'd like your take RIU. What do you think? If you vote please give an account of why you did so...

well shit...now i'll have to do some more research. Dude at hydro store that I just called told me there shouldn't be any problem with taking cuts from cuts. Though another employee at the same store believes otherwise......damn. I take back what I said. good luck, I hope all works out well.

This sounds like you're taking a cut from a clone that has only just rooted. Or haven't had a chance to mature. Which I believe is a few months, but am not sure.

Just so i'm clear on something...are you planning on taking a clone from a clone that is flowering? seriously keep your mom in a 16/8 light cycled room and let her mature and take cuts from her. prune her down after each time you take cuts. that way you keep healthy genetics. if you keep taking...
