My magnetic ballast is only about 3 months old.... i thought the smell was because it was a cheap ballast but if its not because of that then i think i might give them a call and get it swapped.... the thing gets so hot you can touch it :(

I am thinking of buying a 600w digital ballast because my magnetic one gets to hot and gives off a burning smell :/ (been like that since it left the store)... What i want to know is will it a 600w ballast dimmed down to 400w work with a 400w bulb or will it only dim down a 600w bulb? Also...

its actually somthing to do with my reflector :/ i put the HPS bulb in one of them cheap reflectors you get in a shit kit and it worked with the orangey glow and that but seems to now want to glow orange in my more expensive powerplant one

It used to be orange an its been used for 1 month before I put it away. I tuk it out for crop 2 and now its a white glow

Hi my hps has been out of use for a few weeks while I setup my next grow an I finally did an when I turned on my hps it was white so I thought id give it 30mins to warm up but still no orange glow. The bulb has only been used for a month so should be ok and it used to have the sexy orange...

I have 4 auto flower anubis plants growing in a hydro setup and they always seem to have the cal/mag deficiency... i have bought cal mag but no diffrence... i run it with canna flower A + B hard water and plant magic plus cal/mag but fucking things are still yellow and have brown spots :/ it...

o shit! gunna need to spend even more money now on bloody mason jars haha... From what i have read it can be risky to as the shit can mold up in mason jars

i do know what curing is and how to do it... i just wanted to know if it was worth the effort. A lot of people i know just grow it, dry it and then sell it without curing. Either way back to the original question... does smell matter? if it has no smell is it shit!?

I don't really have time to cure it.... is curing really that much of a big process? or just more of the perfectionists approach? Will my buds still be full of thc? and get me stoned?
