I CANNOT find a spot to grow!

I've done these for 8 years now, and I think I've harvested around 30 to 40 plants, some of which that have been over 8 feet tall, and I've only had one found. This is what I look for, and others have also mentioned it. Creeks on property lines. In a rural area there are usually briars...

Cali's having good weather but im still getting mold! (botrytis) wtf!!!!

I'm use to it now. I shake them every morning , and sometimes pull some buds apart, but really a little mold just goes with the growing of semi-tropicals in a temperate climate. Don't beat yourself up over it too much, and don't be afraid to chop some of it off. Air flow helps.

How much research did you do before finally planting?

75 degrees lights on, mid 60s lights off, lots of air, 40%ish humidity, 5000 lumens per sq. foot and a modest feed regiment. If you can just accomplish these 6 goals you are all but guaranteed nice buds.

How much research did you do before finally planting?

I decided on a whim to do it. I had been a smoker for twenty years. Luckily I had a buddy doing stuff on drip tables. We simply duplicated his set-up, which was 2 x1000, actively exhausted, and two 4x4 tables, and I followed the Advanced Hydroponics recipe to a tee. The AH system is ridiculously...

Cali's having good weather but im still getting mold! (botrytis) wtf!!!!

Everybody is talking about Budworms, or high temps, and honestly the worms really arent that common. It's plain old gray mold (rot) that kills most plants. The mold likes temperatures in the 40s F., and it likes high humidity. I think in 9 of ten instances I've witnessed, or read about, it's...

    1000 Plants found in Chicago.

These are impossible conclusions to come up with based on the video, or the data available. I will say though those looked like 5 to 9 oz. type plants from the buds, height of the girls, and girth of the buds I could see. The quality though is impossible to gauge. I would however, guess that...

How to seriously kill spidermites for good, for lazy people, armageddon style.

Yeah but look man I've done retail, and I've known too many of the grow shops owners personally, and while they normally aren't lying to you, they ALWAYS recommend the product that lines their pockets the most, period. Grow store guys are great when you're starting out, but you'll see right away...

How to seriously kill spidermites for good, for lazy people, armageddon style.

I was visiting a friend last autumn and they had that (sns 209), and Organicide. It's not terrible, but it truly isn't any better than any other antiappetant. You don't get it that all those plant based anitappetants are about the same? In fact I wonder if like many foliar agents it may even...

How to seriously kill spidermites for good, for lazy people, armageddon style.

Look man here is what you posted, and it's just not true. SNS 209 is merely an antiappetant. I've used it on my own plants, and it's no better, or worse than a handful of similar "natural" antiappetants, all of which are plant based IE- Rosemary, Sesame, Pepper, Tobacco, etc, etc. You said in...

How to seriously kill spidermites for good, for lazy people, armageddon style.

This is not true. SNS 209 might be an OK product (I doubt it), but SNS 209 absolutely does not kill insects! From the Sierra Natural Science site- "SNS-209 barrier is harmless to the plant but distasteful to mites and other insects." "When an insect starts to suck or chew on the plant it...

How to seriously kill spidermites for good, for lazy people, armageddon style.

I think fogger's are too toxic to be spraying that often. Also Neem Oil truly sucks, while Azamax, and Azatrol are so-so at best. I don't know why the fuck people recommend all these so much. They are amongst a handful of products you can use in flowering I guess . I know of two products that...

    bugs on my plants

How far are you into flowering? I ask because Neem Oil truly sucks, I don't know why the fuck people recommend it so much. It is amongst a handful of products you can use in flowering I guess . but I know of two products that work 100% if you are further than 45 days from harvest. In fact man...

    Leaf Tip Burn

When growing in soil, the soil and water supply should stay within the range of 6.5 to 7.0, in hydroponics the nutrient solution should stay within the range of 5.5 and 6.0. I use Floranova exclusively, and use heavy feed schedules. What's your ground, and canopy temps? How much light you...
