Just curious if i start from seed and i keep my lights on 24 hours a day while they veg how long would it take to see if they are male or females? Do i have to swtich to 12/12 to find out or will they eventually show while in veg?

I have a similar problem. All the girls look good but on one plant the leaves are turning brown and feel like they are drying up/crispy feeling. you can even just break the leaves off like this one in the pic here. It is budding ok though. Im using AN grow micro bloom and Botanicare hydroplex...

Is it ok to have light leaks during the off times on 18/6 in a mother veg room? will this stress the plants maybe? Basically i have lights on 24/0 and id like to go to 18/6 to save a lil on electricity. Overall the room is very dark but i know there are leaks.
